System and Installation Requirements

Use a 64-bit Windows 11 or Windows 10 PC.
Burning requires a compatible optical writer and suitable blank media; supported disc types depend on the drive.
Setup requests administrator permission so the disc tools can run with the required privileges.

Setup selects the desktop shortcut and run-after-install options by default. You can change both. A separate RelevantKnowledge research offer is optional; declining it does not prevent installation or use of the main application.

Is Disc Create Express free?

Yes. Its current disc and image tools are free to use without a license key. All five current applications on this site are completely free.

Which drive and blank discs do I need?

Use a CD, DVD or Blu-ray writer that supports your chosen task, with matching writable media. A read-only drive cannot burn a disc.

Why does installation request administrator permission?

The disc tools require administrator privileges. Allow the Windows permission prompt during setup to install and run the application.

Will an MP3 data disc work in an audio CD player?

It depends on the player. An audio CD and a data disc containing MP3 files are different formats; choose an audio CD for a player that only supports standard audio CDs.

Can I decline the optional setup offer?

Yes. Setup may present a separate RelevantKnowledge research offer. Declining it does not prevent installation or use of Disc Create Express.
