Open, Record and Listen

Begin with an existing file through File → Open…, or open Tools → Record… for a new take. The recorder offers the audio sources available on your Windows computer. Make a short test before a longer recording and listen for distortion or unwanted background sound.

Select and Change a Passage

Choose the section on the waveform and check its selection values. Listen around an edit boundary, use Undo when the change needs adjusting and keep a source copy before exporting. A small test selection makes a new effect easier to compare.

Export and Check the Copy

The export dialog separates the working audio from a delivery copy. Choose the whole file or a selection, select a format and review the available output settings. Play the finished file in its intended player.
